A cup of wellbeing and slow living

Wellbeing - The state of being comfortable, healthy and happy.

The challenges of the lock down have encouraged us to look at the lives that we lead and revaluate what is important and what is the best way to live our lives.

We lived through something no other generation has ever gone through. We were alive when the world closed. The world literally closed shop.

So, with all this in mind, we all know how to look after our bodies. Eat well and exercise.

If I asked you, how do you look after your mind, what would you say?

Drinking herbal tea is simply the best way to get the best nutrients and vitamins that you need with it being all plant based and natural.

Herbs have so many beautiful ways to naturally help aid the body.

Nutritionists and herbalists will collectively rave about the possible positive effects that herbs have on the human body.

Great herbal tea will be simply bursting with delicious flavours, and you should benefit from the power of these amazing herbs.

Herbal tea is not just a warm drink in a mug. It is so much more.

It is the mindful moment that you take to make it. Each sip should activate a healthy mental wellbeing moment within you.

Why did we choose loose tea for our Wild Women Tea Collection?

It is simple. The volatile oils in herbs can evaporate in a teabag filling machine and they lose some of their flavour.

Loose tea is also fresher as mass-produced tea bags are generally filled with tea leaves from different locations and has usually travelled great distances before it reaches supermarket shelves.

Also, Loose leaf tea tends to just taste better too.

Loose tea is a tea that is not brewed in a teabag so when you steep loose tea, it has room for tea leaves to absorb water and expand as they infuse.

Water flow through the leaves is so important as they contribute towards Vitamins, Minerals, Flavours and Aroma that goes into your body. So, if you are looking to get the best out of tea and reap the benefits, then loose tea is a greater choice in our opinion.

When you steep tea in a teabag, its infusion is, of course, limited by the size of the teabag.

Using Loose Leaf tea for the first time may seem like an overwhelming experience but we see it as a mindful moment.

The art of slowing not just the body down, but most importantly, slowing the mind down. The most important tool that we will ever own.

The simple process of slowly brewing a delicious pot of tea with fresh natural herbs is a beautiful moment. It allows your brain to engage itself within the moment whilst created something that is so good for you.

Herbs have got this amazing power within them to help to naturally and gradually heal the body and although in the past, this was sadly not recognised, herbs are now finally stepping into the well-deserved shining platform.
